These terms and conditions govern the use of website https://riojavina.es/, the property of VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. with registered office at AVENIDA DE MENDAVIA 8 (province of LA RIOJA in Spain), and Tax ID Code (CIF) No. 26041418., entered in the Companies Register of La Rioja, Volume 176, Book 125, Folio 67, Section 3 on sheet 1658, entry 1 on 17/03/1986 with phone number +34 941 23 14 49 and email address vinarisa@riojavina.com.

The purchase of the products and/or services offered on this website implies in all cases the acceptance of these terms and conditions in the version published by VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. at the time of the order. Customers are therefore advised to read these Standard Terms and Conditions before purchasing. These purchase conditions are applicable to all sales made through this website.

We may update these terms and conditions, as well as the Disclaimer and our Privacy Policy at any time.


The languages in which the User can place an order are: Spanish and English.

2.1.- Provision of data and information required for the provision of service:

You can browse the store, add products to your cart and make purchases without being registered.

Users must provide VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. with all the data required for the provision of the services available on this website and for the purposes indicated above, as well as in the disclaimer / privacy policy on this website. The data and information provided must always be valid and up to date, otherwise we will be unable to provide the services. It is essential that you provide all the compulsory information indicated (and your email address in particular, so that you can be contacted by VINAGRERÍAS RIOJANAS and also the carrier responsible for delivering the order), given that, otherwise, we will be unable to process your order. Under no circumstances will we be liable for possible delivery delays or mistakes resulting from an error or omission in this data.

2.2.- Availability:

VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS undertakes to deliver the goods purchased by the User together with the invoice, at the buyer’s address indicated for this purpose on the order form (products will not be delivered to PO Boxes or call centres), in the shortest possible time and, in any case, always within thirty (30) calendar days as of the order date. The shipping costs for the products purchased shall be paid by the User.

We may cancel an order due to lack of availability regardless of the information published on the website at the time when the order was placed and even if the customer has received an email confirming the order. However, we will notify the purchaser as soon as possible, together with the possibility of either replacing the item with another product of similar characteristics of the same or a higher quality and at the same price (if a product with a higher price is selected, then a variation of 5% in the price paid will be accepted) or cancelling all or part of the order. In the event of a partial or complete cancellation for this reason, we will refund the amount paid within a maximum period of 7 calendar days.

2.3.- Purchasing procedure:

The characteristics of the products and/or services offered through this website are available in the information sheet for each product. Browse the website until you find the desired product and/or service. Once located, click on the product to access all the purchase information: price, taxes, charges, etc. and select the desired options. From there you can add the product to your cart.

We would inform users that the images and technical characteristics published for the products are for illustration purposes only and are written directly by the manufacturer. Therefore, some details may be slightly different from the product actually offered or available at the time of purchase. In the event of possible differences, our sales team will call you beforehand to inform you of an available alternative.

Given that the placement of orders is subject to Spanish legislation, they shall be understood to be made at the registered office of VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. with domicile at AVENIDA DE MENDAVIA 8 (province of LA RIOJA – SPAIN).

2.4.- Order confirmation:

In any event, the placement of the order entails the obligation to pay for it. The total amount of the order must be paid in advance through the channels indicated in point 2.6 below. Once the user has selected the product and decided to buy it (see example in the screen capture below),

the customer will obtain confirmation of the products purchased and their amount (see example in the screen capture below),


and may then confirm the order placed by clicking on the “Realizar el pedido” (place order) button and pay using the desired credit card.

Once confirmed, the order is firm and will be automatically recorded and VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A will proceed to send and/or deliver it.

The automatic recording of the order is proof of purchase with regard to its nature, content and date. The confirmation of the order by the customer entails acceptance of the prices, the product description and other conditions indicated, either in the data collection forms that the user was required to complete or in this document.

Following confirmation of an online order, you will automatically be sent an email to the address you indicated, confirming the order and the correct completion of the order transaction, with the information relating to the contract made: amount, product purchased and contact details; as well as an order reference number. This reference number uniquely identifies your order placed through the website and it will allow VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. to identify it should you have any queries.

The sales receipt (or invoice) is created automatically and emailed to the email address provided. If the invoice is issued in the name of a third party at the Customer’s request, then both parties shall be jointly and severally liable to pay it. The user has the right to receive a paper invoice at no extra cost. For this purpose, the user must indicate their Tax ID No. (NIF), name and surnames or company name and invoicing address. Furthermore, the customer expressly gives their consent to the issuance of an e-invoice, with the possibility of withdrawing this

consent in any case, by sending an email to this effect to the contact address indicated in the section on preliminary provisions hereof.

2.5.- Price, currency and taxes:

The applicable prices are those indicated on the website on the date on which the order is placed. The prices displayed for each product are in euro (€). The amount does not include shipping costs, which will be separately itemised in the shopping cart, insurance against possible loss or damage during shipping, or the applicable VAT in Spain at the time of order. Once the products have been added to the cart, the breakdown will be displayed, showing the tax base and the applicable VAT, as well as the total amount in order to avoid any possible confusion regarding prices.

This amount is valid and complete for deliveries within mainland Spain.

VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. assumes no liability whatsoever for any possible typographical or arithmetical errors that may appear in the prices indicated on its pages. However, it does undertake to correct any such errors as soon as possible and to notify the error and new price to any customers who may have ordered the product in question and, if they do not accept the new price, to offer them the right to cancel the order, provided that the products purchased have not yet been delivered. In the event of a partial or complete cancellation of an order for this reason, VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. undertakes to fully refund the amount paid within a maximum period of 7 calendar days and always through the same method used for the payment.

Special offers on products are either displayed in the “Ofertas” section or are indicated in the product information sheet and, if not indicated otherwise, they will be valid once added to the shopping cart.

Any product displayed with a price of €0.00 will be deleted from any order placed given that this is a computer error and is not the actual price. In such cases, we undertake to correct the error as soon as possible.

Discount vouchers are subject to special conditions and a limited validity for use. Check the details of each voucher before using it.

Once the purchase order has been completed, and before making payment, a final summary will be displayed, identifying the items ordered and their total price (taxes and costs included).

Pursuant to the legislation in force, any order made on our website will be subject to value added tax. The applicable VAT rate shall be that legally in force at any given time. VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS S.A. reserves the right to make any changes considered appropriate, at any time and with no prior notice, and may revise prices and products based on any updates that may occur.

2.6.- Methods and terms of payment:

The prices displayed on screen are in euro and include VAT. They are valid, unless there is a typographical error

Payment of the price of the goods purchased and the shipping costs, as displayed on screen, can be made securely etiher through a Credit Card or PayPal. To make the payment, Users must either log into this payment platform, if they already have an account, or register as a new user following the instructions indicated. PayPal is the electronic payment system selected by VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS for its security, speed and simplicity.

2.7.- Dispatch and delivery date:

VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS will use an external courier service to deliver orders to customers, which may vary depending on the destination and the number of products purchased. VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS does not ship products to the Canary Island or to the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.

Deliveries are made on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and in business hours. No delivery options are available for the weekends or public holidays.

The shipping costs will be detailed during the purchase process and the User will be able to review these costs before completing the

purchase. The purchase of the products is subject to the payment of the shipping costs, for the User’s account.

VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS will assume no liability whatsoever for any failure to deliver the order due to incorrect or false information provided by the User. Neither shall VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS be liable for a non-delivery for reasons beyond its control, such as the absence of the recipient at the delivery address.

VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS undertakes to deliver the goods purchased by the User together with the invoice, at the buyer’s address indicated for this purpose on the order form (products will not be delivered to PO Boxes or call centres), in the shortest possible time and, in any case, always within thirty (30) calendar days as of the order date. The shipping costs for the products purchased shall be paid by the User.

2.8.- Withdrawal and claims policy:

The User-Buyer shall have a period of fourteen (14) business days, according to the official calendar of their place of residence, to withdraw from the sale without incurring any penalties or costs whatsoever, including the costs for the return of the goods. The fourteen-day period established above will be calculated from the date of receipt of the goods by the buyer

To exercise the option to return a Product, the User must contact VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS in order to arrange the return. Products must be undamaged and returned in their original packaging. Users cannot return a Product and claim a refund if the seal has been broken or if it has been tampered with in any other way that renders it damaged.

If the product is damaged during shipping, then the User must indicate this on the carrier’s delivery note and must contact VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS to make the claim. After this period, VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS shall not be liable for any claim for this reason.

User’s must retain a signed copy of the delivery documentation provided by the carrier at the time of receipt.

Any return of orders must be sent to the address of VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS, at Avenida de Mendavia nº 8, Logroño (La Rioja – Spain), with Post Code 26009.

Once the buyer has exercised the right to withdraw, then VINAGRERIAS RIOJANAS will refund the amounts received, with no deduction whatsoever and no later than thirty days, once the condition of the goods has been verified.

Notwithstanding the above, the right to terminate (withdraw) is excluded in those cases in which, due to the nature of the content of the services provided, it is impossible to perform this, without prejudice to any claim for damages incurred.

2.9.- Statutory warranty:

Pursuant to the general consumer and user protection law and other additional legislation, if the seller is a professional or entrepreneur, then the seller shall be obliged to deliver to the consumer and user products that are in accordance with the contract, assuming liability for any lack of conformity that may exist at the time of delivery of the goods. The consumer and user is entitled to either the repair of the product, its replacement, or to have the price reduced or the contract rescinded. The seller is liable for any production defects observed within a period of three years as of the date of receipt of the product. Batteries are not covered by the warranty.

Any defects or flaws caused by the incorrect use or handling of the product, or wear and tear caused by the normal use of the product are not included in this warranty. Loss of product functionality due to design limitations, is also excluded from the coverage of this warranty.

Repair, refund or replacement shall be made within a maximum period of 3 months. Should it be technically impossible for our after-sales service to determine whether or not a defect or flaw is due to a manufacturing fault or incorrect use, then the article will be sent to the manufacturer so that its Technical Support Service (TSS) can determine the cause of the fault and decide whether or not this is covered by the warranty.

If on receipt of the order, before the product is used, a defect or fault is found in the goods received, then we should be contacted through our SALES DEPARTMENT (DEPARTAMENTO COMERCIAL). You will be asked to provide a photo or VIDEO of the defect and we will arrange to have the product collected. Once we receive it, we will proceed to either exchange or replace it as indicted above in section 2.8 “Claims and returns” or, if this is not possible, then a refund will be made.
